Project-Based Space and Earth System Science

The EarthComm website has been designed for both teachers and students. Each EarthComm chapter has a web page that provides the learning outcomes for each section of that chapter. A link to the web page for each section of a chapter can be accessed from that chapter's web page. Many sections in the student text contain one or more 'Learning Through Technology' activities that direct students to the EarthComm web site. These activities can be accessed from the web pages for those sections. The web page for each section is divided into one or more of the following segments: Learning Through Technology, Inquiring Further, Resources, and Animations and Video.

The EarthComm web site provides links to many nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and federal agencies. You are subject to the privacy policies of those sites when you leave the EarthComm site. References in the EarthComm web site to any specific commercial products, process, service, manufacturer, or company does not constitute its endorsement or recommendation by the American Geosciences Institute (AGI).
